The Key Event Driving Saxony’s Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises—Networking with Academia & Pioneers in AI Expertise, New Work Environments, and Resilient Business Models

The futureSAX Innovation Forum, with around 150 participants, is regarded as a key event for Saxony’s small and medium-sized enterprises. It brings together business and academia to highlight technology trends in AI integration into new work environments, demonstrate how AI interacts with structures, processes, and business models, and open up practical paths to implementation.

AI is driving change in the world of work: It automates everything from routine tasks to entire processes, improves information flows, and enables new forms of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and self-organization. This gives rise to a work culture in which technology and “New Work” interact in a mutually reinforcing way—serving as a driver of efficiency, creativity, and personal responsibility.

The forum provides a concise overview of regional AI integrations, concrete implementation steps, and their potential—ranging from intelligent knowledge management and digital process support to smart coworking and new business models, particularly in rural areas.

Through AI-based matchmaking, participants can meet potential partners from companies and institutions within Saxony’s AI network during 10-minute on-site discussion sessions. If you are interested, please select the matchmaking option during registration.

To profile

Nicole Hübner combines experience in project management, employer branding and human resources. She was already able to apply her expertise in practice during her business studies at the TU Dresden, specialising in management, marketing and HR. She worked as a student trainee in the strategy department of an employer branding agency and in HR management at a research institution. During a semester abroad at the Norges Handelshøyskole in Norway, she deepened her knowledge of behaviour-based development economics and corporate strategy. Her passion for innovative projects and the further development of networks is reflected in her previous commitments, including for the N5 Symposium, a student conference that promotes the participation of young people in politics, business and culture.
