Look forward to pitches from high-potential startups showcasing the latest innovations from Saxony. Vote for the startup of the evening! Network with other entrepreneurs and investors.

This event, organized in cooperation with Volksbank Mittleres Erzgebirge eG , facilitates dialogue between entrepreneurs and experienced private investors. It provides insights into investing in innovative startups and helps entrepreneurs and experienced business angels connect with one another. The presenting startups will offer insights into various fields and future-oriented topics.

Discover three young, innovative companies that will present their business models to you in just 5 minutes. You’ll have the opportunity to put them through their paces with your questions.

In a panel discussion with two experienced business angels, you’ll learn how an entrepreneur can become a business angel, what myths exist, and how to actually identify a successful startup. The discussion will also address whether“average consumers” can become business angels.

Interactive Investment Round: At the entrance to the event, you’ll receive your exclusive “investment token.” With this, you’ll have the final say in which company is named the “Startupof theEvening.”

The get-together rounds out the evening and gives all entrepreneurs, business angels, and founders the opportunity to network with one another and with the featured startups in a pleasant atmosphere while enjoying delicious finger food.

To profile

Connecting people - that's what Claudia Landrock is passionate about. Before the native of Zwickau completed her bachelor's degree in economics at the TU Dresden, she gained one year of experience abroad as an au pair in Australia and France. An internship of several months in the USA was followed by her master's degree in business administration at the University of Regensburg. Subsequently, she supported and accompanied technology-oriented start-ups and digital start-ups in the Innovation and Start-up Center in Regensburg from the initial idea to the financing round and helped to further develop the regional start-up ecosystem. 

Her fascination with innovation and start-ups is also rooted in her student involvement with "enactus Regensburg". She still supports young start-up projects on a voluntary basis as a mentor at StartUP Teens and also campaigns for better conditions for start-ups at federal level as chair of the Start-up Promotion Working Group at a digital policy association.
