Smart cities and regions - these are networked, liveable and resilient ecosystems, characterized by technological progress and a great spirit of innovation. Intelligent solutions that focus on the benefits for citizens are a driving force for sustainable urban and regional development. Whether intelligent buildings, networked supply infrastructures or low-emission transport concepts - innovative and smart approaches create the basis for sustainable, resource-conserving and liveable spaces.
At the simul+ meets futureSAX innovation forum, business, science and administration will discuss best-practice projects, present technological applications and initiate new collaborations for joint projects. simul+ and futureSAX will highlight technological innovations that make Saxon cities and regions smarter, more efficient and more sustainable.

Extensive networking opportunities in the exhibitor area provide the perfect setting for jointly launching innovations for our cities and regions of the future.
Call for pitches:
Apply for a pitch and/or exhibitor space up to and including March 13, 2026! We support you in initiating cooperation. The call addresses the following topics
- Smart Energy & Infrastructure - e.g. solutions for the intelligent control of energy supply, charging infrastructure, street lighting, waste disposal, irrigation, wastewater management as well as smart transport infrastructure and mobility solutions.
- Smart Building & Living - e.g. solutions for intelligent building and real estate management, planning and construction, facility management, digital services for housing and living, including environmental and health monitoring and telemedicine.
For all pitchers, futureSAX offers an online pitch workshop on 02.04.2026, 10-12 am.
