Are you planning to set up a new cluster or are you active in the early phase of a network initiative? Then this webinar offers valuable orientation on the political, legal and funding framework conditions that are crucial for successful cluster work.

Lukas Nögel (VDI/VDE-IT) supports Saxon networks on behalf of the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor, Energy and Climate Protection (SMWA) in initiating projects as part of the promotion of clusters and business networks in the Free State of Saxony and provides a compact overview of current cluster policy in Saxony, Germany and Europe. In addition to insights into the Cluster Excellence Criteria of the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA), you will learn which factors determine sustainable structural development and eligibility for funding today. The program will be supplemented by practical experience reports: Kristin Lötsch (HZwo e.V.) will show how the innovation cluster "Hydrogen Land Saxony" has grown strategically and Sabine Scholz (neo.NET e.V.) will provide insights into the dynamics of the funded cooperation cluster "B3Dneo - The Saxon Cluster for Additive Manufacturing".

Take the opportunity to get to know the basics and success factors for your own cluster project and to talk directly to experienced cluster managers and experts.

After completing her Bachelor's degree in International Business at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (FH), specialising in economic policy, Christiane Demmler initially worked in international companies in various industries in the areas of assistance and controlling. Since 2013, she has been involved in building networks, developing and implementing services and initiating projects in the Saxon energy and environmental technology cluster Energy Saxony e.V., including eight years as part of her employment at the project management organisation VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH.
