Corona start-up aid fund

Support services for Saxon companies

The Corona Start-up Aid Fund (CSH) supports sustainable business models from all sectors in order to alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic and provide new impetus for growth. futureSAX was an early advocate for the implementation of the BMWi's Pillar II support fund and contributed the needs of Saxony's start-up scene. Since the launch of the support fund at the beginning of August, the Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen (MBG) has already provided 81 start-ups with venture capital. Approximately 135 requests for financing have been received. MBG manages the CSH, which has a total volume of €40 million, with its own experienced team for start-up investments. The aid fund is jointly financed by the federal government, the Free State of Bavaria and MBG and offers equity and equity-like funds of up to EUR 2,000,000 to secure liquidity. Applications for the Corona Startup Aid Fund can be submitted until December 31, 2021.
