Look forward to pitches from high-potential start-ups with the latest Saxon innovations. Vote for the start-up of the evening! Exchange ideas with other entrepreneurs and investors.

The event in cooperation with Sparkasse Zwickau enables an exchange between entrepreneurs and experienced private investors. It provides you with impulses for investing in innovative start-ups and helps entrepreneurs and experienced business angels to network. The presenting start-ups provide insights into different fields and future topics.

Experience three young, innovative companies presenting their business models to you in just 5 minutes. You can put them through their paces with your questions.

In the panel talk with two experienced business angels, you will learn how to become a business angel as an entrepreneur, what myths there are and how to actually discover a successful start-up. They will also clarify whether "ordinary people" can become business angels.

Interactive investment round: You will receive your exclusive "Investment-Jeton" at the start of the event. At the end of the event, you will be able to decide which company will be named "Start-up of the Evening".

The get-together rounds off the evening and gives all entrepreneurs, business angels and founders the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and with the presented start-ups in a pleasant atmosphere with delicious finger food.

Variety - is the name on the former banker's CV. After additional training in the creative arts in South Africa, Marco Schnell started his own business as a creative trainer in Mecklenburg. He later gained further experience abroad during two years of intercultural studies in Argentina and Chile. His interest in foreign cultures and languages, as well as in connecting people, then led him back to Germany, where he worked as a project manager supporting an association in bringing refugee families together on a European level.

For private reasons, he then moved to Leipzig. Here he came into contact with the Saxon start-up world. With his communication skills, the bridge builder was alternately responsible for communication, sales, HR and business development in three start-ups before taking up his last position as Head of Marketing.

He alternates between the bouldering wall, the swimming pool, the bicycle and for finger sports: his piano.
