Next Level Angel Investing: New spin-off strategies - How angels in Saxony can benefit from them and why the investment performance of mixed start-up and investor teams is more successful.
How can Saxony experience a spin-off boom?
The Saxon Business Angel Day 2025 will focus on new strategies to make spin-offs more successful in practice and explain how business angels can benefit from this at an early stage. We will also discuss the topic of diversity in angel pools and founding teams and its impact on the success of a start-up.
The number of patents held by German universities remains high. In the key panel , we will present exciting new strategies to increase the number of successful spin-offs, discuss their advantages and disadvantages and their applicability in Germany and Saxony.
"Diversity" - for some a buzzword, for others fundamental. We discuss whether start-ups with a mix of male and female founders, with international and multidisciplinary backgrounds are really more successful. We also discuss whether angel syndicates should also pay attention to a good mix of female and male investors in their team - in the Unity in Diversity panel.
