Saxon mentoring network
Exchange of experience for young and established companies
What is mentoring?
Mentoring is the mutual transfer of personal, entrepreneurial experience between mentor and mentee. The mentor supports the mentee on a voluntary basis with strategic decisions and business development objectives, shares specialist knowledge and provides content-related and personal input. In addition, the mentor facilitates targeted contact with established networks in the Saxon innovation ecosystem.
Conversely, the mentee brings new impulses from their own environment to the mentoring, so that both sides of the mentoring mutually inspire and develop each other. The focus tends to be on topics that are not short-term, day-to-day construction sites, but rather serve the long-term development of the company or support strategic objectives. Mentoring is not only suitable for young companies, but also offers established companies the opportunity to exchange ideas across companies on topics such as innovation management. There are no fees for mentoring.
Become a mentor
As a mentor, you share your entrepreneurial experience with a suitable mentee, provide support in planning strategic objectives and give feedback on content and personal development in regular meetings. In return, you benefit from the approaches and methods of your mentee.

Procedure of the mentoring
-
Send us your application to become amentorormenteeby the end of each quarter.
-
We will evaluate these together with the respective core team from your region and organize an initial matching appointment where mentor and mentee can get to know each other.
-
If both sides are a match in terms of content and personality, they sign a mentoring agreement on confidentiality and the duration of the mentoring.
-
During the mentoring, mentor and mentee meet regularly to learn from each other and grow together.
-
At the end of the mentoring session, there is a feedback meeting with us in which you can report on your new insights and experiences.
