The start-up partners then had their say. In their usual manner, they reported on the start-up-supporting activities planned for the near future in all regions of Saxony. The declared goal of the Saxon Start-up Partner Network is to interlink these activities and thus to open up further potentials, for example through joint communication.
In addition, Marina Heimann, managing director of futureSAX GmbH, and Alexander Seedorff, project manager for the start-up area, gave an update on the current events and plans of the innovation platform of the Free State. Special attention was paid to the final spurt of the Saxon Start-up Award, for which interested parties with their innovative start-up project or young innovative companies can apply until March 10, 2019. The Saxon State Award will culminate in the awarding of the award at the major futureSAX Innovation Summit on June 19, 2019 in Dresden. Marina Heimann has already cordially invited the partners to actively participate.
The multipliers for the kick-off event of the InnoStartBonus received another important save-the-date message. The guideline for the model project for start-up support of the Saxon Ministry of Economics, Labor and Transport was published almost simultaneously with the partner meeting. The kick-off event on March 20, 2019 will be the starting signal for the new funding instrument. Interested parties can apply online from the following day.
In the get-together, the more than 20 participants used the opportunity to exchange ideas intensively with colleagues from other corners of Saxony. Perhaps one will soon even hear or read about one or the other cooperation that has been created. Finally, the partners followed Dr. Randy Kurz eagerly on his guided tour through the BioCity building complex.
We look back on an informative meeting of the supporters of the Saxon start-up scene. A special thanks goes to all active co-designers. In our calendar you will find the next date of the futureSAX start-up partner network and many other exciting events in the Free State of Saxony.
